A Natural Cleanup Solution for the Gulf Oil Spill

A company called Matter of Trust has an innovative solution for cleaning up the Gulf Oil Spill. Instead of using petroleum based products, they’re orchestrating a drive to collect renewable and naturally absorbant products like hair, fur and wool to get the job done.
Wen Chic is donating hair clippings which the Matter of Trust folks stuff into recycled nylons and cover in mesh (time allowing, the hair can also be weaved into mats).
Participation is open to everyone; both individuals and companies can contribute. Click Here for more information.

Dinair Airbrush Makeup – Used on the Set of Avatar! (Video)
Dinair Airbrush makeup is often referred to as the secret of the stars because of the many top fashion models and celebrities that depend on it daily to look their best. It was recently used on the set during the filming of Avatar (you didn’t think the Na’vi clan really had blue skin, did you)? We’re guessing James Cameron can afford the best in his movies – ’nuff said.
Dinair was founded by Dina Ousley, former actress and emmy award winning makeup artist. Her salon experience includes working as Paul Mitchell’s assistant in NYC, and later acted as Warren Beatty’s salon assistant in the movie Shampoo. In 1989, Dina won first place in an international makeup competition, the first entry and win for airbrush makeup.
